Stride 4 Scott

Scott’s First Grade saga is nearly complete.  He is having a good year free, so far,
from any major colds or illnesses.  It has been the first year of all day classes and we
are happy to report that he likes it very much and is doing well.  He still loves to golf,
ride his bike, feed the ducks, and play with friends.
Scott is currently participating in a Phase 3 clinical trial, signing on for one, maybe two
years of study.  This does entail more doctor visits and adding an after school treatment
to his already morning and evening routine.  We’ve worked it in and he rarely complains.
The study drug, Denufosol, is targeted to correct the salt transport defect in CF patients.

We are trying to travel North for Spring Break – who does that?  Scotty thinks Papa only
fishes in a boat, so we would like to introduce him to the wintery side of Minnesota.
The plans include some ice fishing and snowmobile rides for the first time.
